World’s Strongest Tasmanian
World’s Strongest Tasmanian Is the collective title of three competitions designed for novices, Intermediates, and advanced strongman athletes in Tasmania. These competitions are affiliated with Australia’s Strongest, and the highest level acts at the state qualifier for the AS Title Shows
TSN -Tassie’s Strongest Novice
TSI - Tassie’s Strongest Intermediate
WST - World’s Strongest Tasmanian (State Qualifier)
Our Objective
Our objective in running the World’s Strongest Tasmanian competitions is to foster growth in the strongman community locally and interstate. We strive to offer opportunities for every level of strongman.
What makes strongman different from other sports is that often event organisers will set event weights. This means that if you are not able to hit the event weights, you will zero the event.
For Example:
Event 1 may be a deadlift run with 5 increasing weights. These weights are set and you will be scored by the weight you hit, or how quickly you hit all 5 weights.
Novice Open Women’s Weight
80kg, 90kg, 100kg, 110kg ,120kg
Intermediate Open Women’s Weight
100kg, 115kg, 130kg, 140kg, 150kg
Advanced Open Women's Weight
130kg, 145kg, 160kg, 175kg, 190kg
By running different tiers of strongman comps locally, we are able to offer opportunities for all levels of strongman competitors.
If you’re growing into the sport, or just looking to have fun, we want to welcome you!
